The Astro Peak is a 835 m high mountain in the West Antarctic Queen Elizabeth Land . It rises one mile beyond the western end of the Berquist Ridge in the Neptune Range of the Pensacola Mountains .
The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 1968 after the astronomical observation station that the United States Geological Survey built on the top of the mountain for its survey campaign between 1965 and 1966.
