Astrup is a small town in the Danish municipality of Hjørring with 595 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2020). Before the 2007 local government reform , Astrup was part of Sindal Municipality , which was merged with Hirtshals Municipality , the original Hjørring Municipality and Løkken-Vrå Municipality .

Astrup is about nine kilometers east of Hjørring and about seven kilometers west of Sindal .
