Aswath Damodaran

Aswath Damodaran (* 1957 ) is Professor of Finance at the Stern School of Business at New York University ( Kerschner Family Chair in Finance Education ), where he teaches corporate finance and business valuation . He is known as a lecturer and book author.

Life

Aswath Damodaran was born in India . He completed studies at the University of Madras and the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore and the University of California, Los Angeles with a Master of Science in Management , an MBA and a Ph.D. from.

Before teaching at NYU, he was visiting professor at the University of California, Berkeley from 1984 to 1986 . Damodaran also teaches on the TRIUM Global Executive MBA program, an alliance between NYU , LSE London and HEC Paris , as well as the Master of Science in Global Finance (MSGF) , a joint program between NYU and the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology . He teaches assessment for Stern Executive Education.

He holds courses in the MBA and Ph.D. Program at the University of California, Los Angeles , as well as courses in accounting at the University of Madras , the Institute for Mergers, Acquisitions and Alliances, and the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore .
