Ataru Esaka ( Japanese 江 坂 任 , born May 31, 1992 in Sanda , Hyōgo Prefecture ) is a Japanese football player .

Career

Ataru Esaka learned to play football in the youth team of Sanda Woody SC , the school teams of Sanda Yurinokidai Jr. High School and Kobe Koryo Gakuen High School, and the university team of Ryutsu Keizai University . He signed his first professional contract with Thespakusatsu Gunma in 2015 . The club from Kusatsu , a small town in Agatsuma County in Gunma Prefecture , played in the country's second-highest league, the J2 League . In 2015 he made 42 appearances in the second division. In 2016 he signed a two-year contract with first division promoted Ōmiya Ardija in Saitama . At the end of 2017, the club had to start the path to the second division. After 65 first division games, the first division team Kashiwa Reysol from Kashiwa signed him in 2018 . At the end of 2018 he had to relegate to the second division with Kashiwa. In 2019, he managed to return directly to the first division with the club as the J2 champion.
