Atomic Opera
Atomic Opera is a Christian progressive rock band from Texas .
The style is compared to King's X and Galactic Cowboys . Their music includes typical metal riffs like those found on Black Sabbath or Metallica , with a mix of melodious parts reminiscent of the Beatles. One of the founding members is James Root ( Slipknot / Stone Sour ). He left the band before the first album was released.
