Atousa Pourkashiyan ( Persian آتوسا پورکاشیان; born on May 16, 1988 in  Tehran ) is an Iranian chess player and multiple Iranian national champion of women.

successes

She won the U-12 Girls' World Cup in Oropesa del Mar in 2000 . She was appointed Grand Master of Women in 2009 , she fulfilled the required standards in August 2006 at the Abu Dhabi Master and in November 2008 at the Women's Chess Olympiad in Dresden . In 2010 she was Asian champion, at the 2012 Women's World Cup she was eliminated in the first round.

Team chess

Pourkashiyan first played in the Iranian women's team at the 2000 Chess Olympiad , and has since participated in all eight women's chess Olympiads . In addition, she represented Iran at the Asian women's team championships in 2003, 2005, 2008, 2009, 2012, 2014 and 2016, where she achieved third place with the team in 2009 and 2014, while in the individual standings in 2009 she had the second-best result on the top board, Got the third best result on the second board in 2005 and the third best result on the first board in 2008 and 2014.

Pourkashiyan played in the German women's Bundesliga in the 2010/11 season and again since the 2015/16 season for Hamburger SK .
