The Atsumi Peninsula ( Japanese 渥 美 半島 , Atsumi-hantō ) is a peninsula on the east coast of Honshū in Aichi Prefecture in Japan .
It is located west of Toyohashi and separates Ise Bay in the west from Mikawa Bay in the north, which is also called Atsumi Bay here. The towns and cities on the peninsula include Tahara and Toyohashi.
The westernmost point is Cape Irago ( 伊 良 湖 岬 , Irago-misaki ).
