The Chita Peninsula ( Japanese 知 多 半島 , Chita-hantō ) is a peninsula on the east coast of Honshū in Aichi Prefecture in Japan .
It is located south of Nagoya and separates Ise Bay in the west from Mikawa Bay in the east, which is also called Chita Bay here. The towns and cities on the peninsula include Tōkai , Chita , Ōbu , Tokoname, and Handa .
