A television program broadcast in Germany on DSF from 1999 to 2000 was out of control and moderated by Florian Kraemer and Judith Zimmer .
concept
The concept of the series was to show accidents in all types of motor sports, from circuit races with monoposti , touring cars and trucks to rallies , drag races and even motorboat races , and to comment on them. In addition, there was the crash of the day in almost every program , which Florian Kraemer made with the saying boom! awarded - but this “price” was a subjective decision of the moderator. Furthermore, the moderators always talked about each other's private life; so z. B. Judith Zimmer Florian Kraemer often because of his (allegedly) pink Opel Corsa .
criticism
The program was criticized for playing down the accidents by the moderators, and viewers were left in the dark about the consequences of particularly violent accidents. However, despite the glee, the moderators repeatedly asserted that no one was harmed in the accidents.
Deposition
Out of control was discontinued in mid-2000 after the district youth welfare office of the Mainz-Bingen district complained to the Bavarian State Center for New Media that it saw the protection of minors in the media at risk. A new broadcast is therefore not possible.
