The Aufacker is a 1542.1 m above sea level. NHN high mountain in the Ammergau Alps 3 kilometers northeast of Oberammergau , in the German state of Bavaria .
location
The Aufacker lies between the Hörnle ( 1548 m ) in the north-west and the Laber ( 1686 m ) in the south-east. Next to the Großer Aufacker is 700 meters further east at an altitude of 1531 m above sea level. NHN the little one .
Ascent
The Aufacker is largely made up of forest and is easy to climb via forest and hiking trails. From Oberammergau you first walk east through the St. Gregor district over the wooded southern ridge in just under two hours to the summit. Another option for ascent is via the Romanshöhe mountain inn near Oberammergau.
