August Bertsche

August Bertsche (born June 8, 1883 in Weilburg , † January 11, 1967 in Wiesbaden ) was a German administrative officer .

Life

Bertsche grew up in Weilburg. He attended the teachers' college and was in the school service from 1903 to 1918. Later he was director of the district welfare office in Montabaur , then a councilor in Niederlahnstein . After the end of the Second World War he was a senior government councilor in the Hessian Ministry of Labor and Welfare in Wiesbaden.

In addition, he was chairman of the Nassau Association for Rural Welfare and Home Care and, in this function, editor of the association's own monthly newspaper, Nassauische Blätter . He also emerged as a writer of local history contributions.

In his function as honorary chairman of the Diocesan Charity Association , he made great contributions to the Kirchähr youth home.
