August Bertz (life dates unknown) was a German football player .

Bertz belonged to TuS Helene Altenessen as a striker on, for he season 1940/41 and 1941/42 in the Gauliga Niederrhein , one of initially 16 and later to 23 spiked Gauligen the era of National Socialism as a uniform top flight in the German Reich , point games denied.
