August Courth (born January 12, 1826 ; † 1903 ) was a German lawyer and parliamentarian.

Johann August Courth was the son of the lawyer and counselor Andreas Courth and Marie Catherine Ludmille Pael. August Courth studied at the Academic College in Münster and law at the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Bonn . In 1844 he became a member of the Corps Borussia Bonn . After graduating, he completed the legal clerkship. He became a regional court assessor and lived for several decades as a regional court assessor. D. in Düsseldorf, where he lived in the inherited property at Alleestraße 4. In 1861 August Courth was on the commission of the artists' association Malkasten for the acquisition of the Jacobi garden , including the notary Otto Euler as chairman.

Courth sat from 1870 to 1873 for the constituency Düsseldorf 8 (Moers) in the Prussian House of Representatives . He belonged to the faction of the Free Conservative Party .
