August Friedrich Hecker
August Friedrich Hecker (born July 1, 1763 in Kütten , † October 11, 1811 in Berlin ) was a German doctor and medical historian.
Life
Hecker studied medicine in Halle and received his doctorate there in 1787. He then worked as a general practitioner in Frankenhausen . In 1790 he became a full professor of medicine in Erfurt , and in 1805 in Berlin . In Berlin he was appointed court counselor. He was Justus Hecker's father .
