August Geyder
August Friedrich Hermann Geyder (born February 5, 1808 in Hamburg , † February 23, 1874 in Breslau ) was a German legal scholar , translator and university lecturer .
Life
Geyder studied law at the universities in Breslau and Göttingen from 1825 . He completed his habilitation in 1833 at the University of Breslau. He then taught encyclopedia, German private law and the history of private law as a private lecturer . When he to the doctor doctorate was, is unknown. In 1843 he was discharged from the faculty through his own fault.
Geyder lived afterwards through the support of nobles and friends and worked as a translator.
