August Klasing (publisher, 1881)
August Klasing (born June 15, 1881 in Bielefeld ; † March 10, 1958 ibid) was a German lawyer and publisher. He was a partner in Velhagen & Klasing .
Life
As the grandson of August Klasing, Klasing attended the Ratsgymnasium Bielefeld . After graduating from high school, he studied law at the Kaiser Wilhelms University of Strasbourg . In 1902 he became a member of the Corps Palatia Strasbourg . At the University of Leipzig he was awarded a Dr. iur. PhD . He then completed an apprenticeship as a bookseller in Munich . He worked for a time in England . With Velhagen & Klasing in Bielefeld since 1912 , he became co-owner in 1919. After the Second World War , he mainly devoted himself to rebuilding the company.
