August art (politician)
August Kunst (born December 9, 1898 in Montabaur ; † May 23, 1980 ibid) was a German CDU politician .
Life and work
Kunst was originally a furniture dealer by profession. In 1945 he became managing director of the Unterwesterwald district craftsmen. He was chairman of the board of directors of the local employment office and second chairman of the AOK for the Unterwesterwaldkreis .
Political party
In the Weimar Republic , art belonged to the ZENTRUM . In 1945 he participated in the founding of the CDU.

In the last free local elections in 1933, art was elected to the city council of Montabaur . Since 1946 he was a member of the district council in the Unterwesterwaldkreis .
From 1957 to 1961 he was a member of the German Bundestag .
