August Schabbehard

Johann Christian August Schabbehard (born August 27, 1887 in Rinteln , † July 17, 1963 in Hamburg ) was a Prussian administrative lawyer and provisional district administrator in the Lebus district (1926).

Life

During his studies in 1906 he became a member of the Leipzig fraternity Dresdensia . He began as a court clerk before the First World War and completed his doctorate in 1919 as Dr. jur. et rer. pole. from. Schabbehard then worked for the district administrator in Stolp , later in Rosenberg (OS) and from 1922 to 1924 for the government in Opole . From 1924 he worked as a councilor in the police headquarters in Stettin until 1924. In 1926 he was provisional district administrator in the Lebus district. Work in the Prussian Ministry of the Interior followed from 1926 to 1927. In 1927 as a senior government councilor, he was the representative of the police chief in Altona-Wandsbek until 1932 . In 1933 Schabbehard was released at his own request. In 1940 he was employed on a trial basis as a senior councilor in the government in Karlsbad .

Schabbehard was close to the German Democratic Party (DDP) and became its member after it was renamed the German State Party (DStP).
