Auguste Kladzig
Sophie Auguste Helene Kladzig , married Auguste La Roche (* 1810 in Weimar ; † May 14, 1875 in Karlsruhe ) was a German theater actress , singer and writer .
Life
Auguste Kladzig was the daughter of a Weimar surgeon. She was a talented artist, to whom Goethe himself would have assigned the role of "Gretchen" at the first performance of Faust . But she was not trained enough as an artist at the time, later she developed into a successful actress. She has also tried her hand at literary novelism.
Johann Peter Eckermann , who fell in love with the then 16-year-old at the age of 34, dedicated his love poems to her.
On March 24, 1833, she married Karl von La Roche in Berlin . His daughter Amalie was also a singer. Her son Heinrich served in the Austrian Navy and died after long suffering in May 1872 at the age of 38.
