Auksutė Ramanauskaitė-Skokauskienė
Auksutė Ramanauskaitė-Skokauskienė (born December 16, 1950 in Prienai ) is a Lithuanian conservative politician .
Life
Her father was General Adolfas Ramanauskas -Vanagas (1918–1957) and her mother partisan Birutė Mažeikaitė-Ramanauskienė. Until 1956 she was kept secret as a partisan child. In 1956, with the strange surname, she attended Kamajai elementary school . Her parents were arrested in October 1956. From 1956 to 1961 she studied in the middle school of the Rajongemeinde Alytus and in 1967 graduated from the "Aušros" high school in Kaunas and in 1973 the civil engineering degree at the Kauno politechnikos institutas and became a civil engineer . From 1973 she worked in Ukmergė and from 1981 in Birštonas .
From 2008 to 2012 she was a member of the Seimas . She is a member of the Tėvynės sąjunga .
