Aureliano Torres , full name Aureliano Torres Román , (born June 16, 1982 in Asunción , Paraguay ) is a Paraguayan football player .

Career

society

Torres began his career in 2001 with the Paraguayan club Irapuato . In 2002 a station at the Japanese association Kyōto Sanga followed . In the same year he returned to Paraguay and played for Deportivo Recoleta until mid-2003 . In the second half of 2003 he was a member of the Sol de América club . From 2004 to mid-2005 he was active at Club Guaraní . Following this, the Spanish club Real Murcia was his employer in the 2005/06 season . By the end of 2006 he was again in the ranks of the Club Guaraní. From 2007 to 2011 he played for the Argentine club CA San Lorenzo .

In the 2011/12 season he was in the ranks of the Mexican club Deportivo Toluca , played there in 27 league games and scored two goals. In July 2012 he moved to Uruguay for the Peñarol . In the 2012/13 season, in which he was with the team Uruguayan champions, he played 16 games (one goal) for the "Aurinegros" and five games (no goal) in the 2013 Copa Libertadores . In 2014 he played in 41 league games (three goals) for the Paraguayan club Sol de América .

National team

With the Olympic selection of the Paraguayan Olympic team , he won the silver medal at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens. For the senior national team in 2010, he took part in the 2004 , 2007 and 2011 tournaments for the Copa America as well as in the 2010 World Cup in South Africa.
