Yusupha Kah

Yusupha Alieu Kah is a politician from the West African state of Gambia .

Life

Kah entered the public service as an economic planner in 1982 and made his career until 1997 as Secretary of State. As ambassador in Brussels , he represented Gambian interests in Belgium , Luxembourg and the Netherlands as well as to the European Union until 2005 .

From 2006 Kah was at the state-owned Gambia Postal Services Corporation as Secretary of State operates, and later in that capacity at the Office of the Vice President and later the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Employment English Ministry of Trade, Industry and Employment .

On 22 September 2009 Kah was by President Yahya Jammeh to the cabinet (as Minister of Trade, Industry and Employment English Minister of Trade, Industry and Employment ) appointed and was succeeded by Abdou Kolley . On February 4, 2010, Kah moved to the newly created Ministry of Economic Planning and Industrial Development ( English Minister of Economic Planning and Industrial Development ). Trade and Employment will be taken over by Baboucarr HM Jallow .

21 July 2010 Kah gave the post of Minister of Economic Planning and Industrial Development at Mambury Njie and was Minister of Trade, Regional Integration and Employment ( English Minister of Trade, Regional Integration and Employment ) to succeed Abdou Kolley.

Honors

Kah received the Order Member (MRG) in May 2009.
