The Aurora Glacier is a 6.4 km long glacier in the US state of Alaska .
It is located in Glacier Bay National Park about 98 km northwest of Hoonah . The Aurora Glacier was named after the MV Aurora ship on the Alaska Marine Highway . The glacier flows north-northwest between July Fourth Mountain in the west and Mount Friable in the east. It feeds the Reid Glacier , which flows north, and the Brady Glacier , which flows south .
The Aurora Glacier extends in a northwest direction. It feeds both the north-facing Reid Glacier and the south-facing Brady Glacier.
