Since Anne Winter moved to Africa for research, her husband, the Hamburg doctor Martin Winter, wants to bring his wife back home. But Anne has found her home in the savannah. He tries to persuade her to come to Germany. Meanwhile, Martin is informed of the pitfalls of everyday life in Africa. However, Anne Winter and her lover Lars both die as a result of a plane crash. However, Martin Winter decides to stay with his new love Sarah in Africa despite the loss of his wife.

“That is certainly not a particularly sophisticated plot, but the actors can act, the dialogues are partly intelligent, partly funny, and the author Jens-Frederik Otto at least knows his way around the continent.
