The Austrian Motorsport Federation (AMF) has sports sovereignty for motorsport in Austria . The AMF is the successor organization to the Supreme National Sports Commission for Motorsport (OSK).

General

The AMF represents national interests in the world federations FIA and FIM and has the status of ASN ( French : Autorité Sportive Nationale , holder of national sports sovereignty) with the FIA , and FMN ( French : Fédération Motocyclisme National ) with the FIM , national member federation of FIM / UEM). Accordingly, the AMF is responsible for the implementation and monitoring of international regulations and for the issuing of licenses. It is authorized to issue international FIA and FIM licenses for your national licensees.

In June 2016, the General Assembly decided ÖAMTC , the Supreme National Sports Commission for Motorsport (OSK) in Austrian Motorsport Federation of the year 2016/2017 rename.

tasks

The AMF and its committees and colleges organize the AMF championships, the state championships, the national track approvals and the national event calendar. The AMF is also responsible for the regulations, their monitoring and the associated sports jurisdiction.

The AMF and its examination board are also responsible for training the sports stewards (e.g. the stewards).
