Autenweiler Strasse 1
The building at Autenweiler Straße 1 in Bermatingen , a municipality in the Lake Constance district in Baden-Württemberg , was built between 1780 and 1800. The elongated, two-storey half - timbered building with a cripple hipped roof is a protected cultural monument .
The building consists of a living area with entrance hall, barn and threshing floor and is traufständig road and the Autenweiler gable permanently located on Salem Street. Immediately adjacent is the former feudal courtyard of the Salem monastery .
A two-story half-timbered structure stands on the massive base with a beamed cellar under the living room. The ornamental forms of the parapet areas serve as decoration: on the ground floor open V-struts with an additional straight central stem and on the upper floor curved diamonds or straight St. Andrew's crosses that connect to form a figure . More St. Andrew's crosses can be seen in the gable of the threshing floor.
The former farmhouse, together with the town hall and the Gasthof zum Adler, forms the center of the village and is therefore characteristic of the town due to its typical visible framework and its location.
