The town hall in Bermatingen , a municipality in the Lake Constance district in Baden-Württemberg , was built on the corner stand in 1745 according to the dating . The town hall at Salemer Straße 1 is a protected cultural monument .

The two-story half - timbered building has a plastered ground floor and a pedestrian passage parallel to the street. The exposed half-timbering can be seen on the upper floor. A roof turret with a bell and clock sits on the one-sided hipped roof . The town hall is traufständig to Salem Street and gable constantly the Town Hall Square. Between the town hall and the Schlehenhof on the opposite side of the street, there is a narrow part of Salemer Straße, which leads into the widened town hall square.

The building was previously completely plastered, it has a simple framework structure with bars, posts and multi-span struts.

The town hall, together with the Gasthaus zum Adler and the Einhaushof Autenweiler Straße 1, forms the center of the town and is therefore a defining feature of the town.
