The Avance is a river in France that runs in the Lot-et-Garonne department in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region . It rises in the municipality of Boussès , generally drains in a northerly direction through the eastern foothills of the Forêt des Landes and flows 56 kilometers below Gaujac as a left tributary into the Garonne .
