geography
The river has its source on the foothills of the Barrington Tops and feeds on the snowmelt in spring. It flows through rolling hills by the settlement, 'Stratford' 'and finally reached the town Gloucester , where he worked in the Gloucester River flows .
Gloucester County is often incredibly hot in the summer months, but it also has an average annual rainfall of 1270mm. When large amounts of rain drain into the waterways, it often results in flooding in the Avon Valley as far as Gloucester, sometimes disrupting all transport links.
