Axel Vornbäum

Axel Vornbäum (* 1960 in Aschaffenburg ) is a German journalist .

Life

Axel Vornbäum studied political science with Werner Weidenfeld in Mainz . From 1985 to 2004 he worked for the Frankfurter Rundschau , most recently as head of the reporting department. In October 2004 he moved to the Berliner Tagesspiegel as an editor for special tasks . Since April 2008 he has been working in the capital city office of Stern .

For his work "The World of Mr. Conrad" in the Frankfurter Rundschau about a man who in paranoia suffering, he was awarded the 1999 Egon Erwin Kisch Prize awarded.
