The Engie Germany GmbH (formerly: Cofely Germany GmbH , not to be confused with the Engie Germany AG ) is a company for building services engineering, plant and process engineering, facility management, energy management and industrial refrigeration. The company belongs to the French Engie - Group .
Company history
On August 9, 2001, the Belgian Groupe Fabricom , a subsidiary of the Suez Group, took over six independent Sulzer Infra companies and continued them under the brand name Axima . In mid-August 2003, the six companies were merged to form Axima GmbH . At the end of 2008 the company was renamed Axima Deutschland GmbH and Axima Refrigeration GmbH was integrated as a subsidiary. Since mid-November 2009, the two companies have been trading as Cofely Deutschland GmbH and Cofely Refrigeration GmbH . At the end of 2010, Cofely Deutschland GmbH acquired the Bochum contracting specialist Proenergy Contracting GmbH & Co. KG . In 2011, Cofely Deutschland GmbH also took on responsibility for its European companies and holdings in Austria, Romania and Hungary. Since May 2016 the company has been called ENGIE Deutschland GmbH.

ENGIE Deutschland divides its activities into four business areas: systems engineering, facility services , energy services and refrigeration technology . The service portfolio includes all technical areas related to the planning, construction, operation, maintenance and modernization of buildings and systems as well as industrial refrigeration systems from the point of view of optimal energy efficiency .
building technology
Within the building technology the company takes over all services in the ventilation technology , energy and heating technology , in fire protection , in the sanitary technology and in the pipeline construction . The company also offers services in the field of measurement, control and regulation technology as well as building automation .
Plant and process technology
Plant and process technology , for example for industrial production processes , laboratories, research facilities, hospitals and nuclear power plants, is a further focus alongside building technology .
Since 2015 the company has also been offering products from the field of test bench technology and environmental simulation.
Facility management / technical building management
In terms of facility services, ENGIE Deutschland offers services in technical, infrastructural and commercial building management , with a focus on the repair, inspection, maintenance and operation of building and production systems. In the field of energy management , the company offers services for monitoring consumption and costs as well as for measuring and controlling. The company develops operator models with consumption and savings guarantees and, on request, takes over warranty management as well as incident and environmental management for its customers .
Energy Services
The Energy Services division at ENGIE Germany offers energy supply services for buildings and systems.
