Ayhan Alemdaroğlu (born March 15, 1968 in Trabzon ) is a former Turkish football player and coach.
Player career
The first period of Alemdaroglu's footballing career is unknown. In 1990 he played for the second division club DÇ Karabükspor . In the summer of 1991 he then moved to Bafraspor within the league . After he missed relegation with this team in the summer of 1993, Alemdaroğlu left the club and moved to third division club Çaykur Rizespor . With this club reached Alemdaroğlu in the 1993/94 season and rose with this club in the Türkiye 2. Futbol Ligi . After a season in the 2nd division for Rizespor, he went to the second division Erzincanspor .
After a season for Erzincanspor, Alemdaroğlu changed his employer again and hired third division Istanbul Büyükşehir Belediyespor . With this club he celebrated the championship of Türkiye 3rd Futbol Ligi and promotion to the Turkish 2nd league in the summer of 1997 . For Istanbul BB he then played another year in the 2nd division and left the club for the third division club Sivasspor . At this club he immediately established himself as a regular player and contributed to the fact that the club became champions of the 3rd Turkish league and thus achieved participation in the 2nd league again after a fourteen-year abstinence. Raised to the 2nd division, Alemdaroğlu played the next two and a half years as a regular player, rather he was loaned to the third division club Iğdırspor for the second half of the 2000/01 season .
At the end of the 2000/01 season he finally left Sivasspor after three years and moved to the third division club Bulancakspor . After a year for this club, he played in sequence at Pazarspor , Değirmenderespor and Sürmenespor before ending his playing career in the summer of 2006.
Coaching career
Immediately after his football career, he began to work as an assistant coach at his last club, Sürmenespor . After a year he took over the same job at Arsinspor and rose to head coach here another year later. In February 2009 he started working as an assistant trainer at Adıyamanspor and continued this activity until May 2009. Then worked in sequence for Trabzon Yalıspor , Kastamonuspor and one more time for Trabzon Yalıspor as head coach.
In the summer of 2013 he took over the position of assistant coach at 1461 Trabzon and thus assisted the newly hired head coach Kadir Özcan . After Özcan's sudden death in October 2013, Alemdaroğlu took over the team as head coach on an interim basis and scored two wins and two draws in four games.
Despite this good record, he officially had to take the post of head coach to the new head coach Cemil Canalioğlu . Since the Turkish Football Association declared the UEFA Pro license to be a prerequisite for head coaching activities in its two top divisions, the Süper Lig and the TFF 1st Lig , and Alemdaroğlu, unlike Cemil Canalioğlu, did not have this, Canalioğlu was officially hired as head coach attend official events such as press conferences. In the event of sudden dismissals of coaches or deaths, the association allowed coaches without a UEFA Pro license to temporarily supervise the team as head coach with a special permit. After Özcan's death, Alemdaroğlu was able to officially supervise the team as head coach for four match days and acted as unofficial head coach after Canalioğlu was hired. In the media and by the club management, however, Alemdaroğlu was seen as head coach.
After the team had slipped to a relegation zone after the 29th matchday, Alemdaroğlu announced his resignation in early March. A few weeks later, he took over Trabzon Akçaabat FK and looked after it until the end of October 2014.
