Aytek Aşıkoğlu (born August 20, 1982 in Istanbul ) is a Turkish football player who currently plays for Göztepe Izmir .
Career
Club career
Aytek Aşıkoğlu learned to play football in the youth of Gaziosmanpaşaspor and from 2000, in addition to his work in the youth teams, also took part in the training of professionals. After a while he was also put on the bench in some games as a substitute player. He made his debut as an amateur player. In the 2001/02 season he captured a regular place and received a professional contract at the end of the season. After he was active for two more seasons for this club, he moved to the second division Adanaspor . Here he got a regular place right away and came to a total of 25 league games. But after the club missed relegation at the end of the season, Aşıkoğlu moved to the first division club Gaziantepspor . Here he played a year and a half more as a supplementary player.
He spent the second half of the season at Elazığspor and then moved to Boluspor for the new season . Here he played two seasons continuously, but in his first season with his team he only missed promotion to the Süper Lig in the relegation phase.
In the summer he moved to Kayseri Erciyesspor and was then continuously active for this club for two seasons.
For the 2011/12 season he then moved to the second division Çaykur Rizespor . The main reason for this change was that Aşıkoğlu had already worked with coach Hüseyin Kalpar at Gaziantepspor. After his one-year contract expired, he left this club.
For the 2012/13 season he was hired at the new place of work Hüseyin Kalpars , to the league competitor Göztepe Izmir .
