BÍ / Bolungarvík is a football club from the Icelandic region of Westfjords , whose roots go back to 1907. It was created in May 2006 from a merger of the football club Boltafélag Ísafjarðar (BÍ 88) with the UMF Bolungarvík sports club . The men's team rose in 2008 to the third highest and in 2010 to the second highest Icelandic football league, to which it has belonged ever since.
The women's team also plays in the second division.
