UMF Selfoss ( Ungmennafélag Selfoss ) is a sports club in the southern Icelandic city of Selfoss .
In addition to soccer, the club also does gymnastics , handball , judo , powerlifting , athletics , swimming , taekwondo and motocross .
history
The association was founded on December 15, 1955. The men's football team rose to the highest Icelandic league - the Pepsideild - for the first time in 2009 . However, one could not keep the class and was the last to relegate with 17 points. In 2011, the promotion to the first division was achieved, but there was again the immediate relegation. The venue is the Selfossvöllur .
