Bakery gastronomy
As a baker gastronomy (including Baker gastronomy) are expanding assortment offers from bakeries to classic pastries called out.
In Germany, the 11,737 bakeries (as of December 31, 2016) with around 46,000 branches are the market leaders in the “out-of-home consumption” sector, and in 2016 alone had sales of more than 3 billion euros in this segment, an increase of 5 .4% compared to the previous year.
Typical products of the bakery gastronomy are z. B. Breakfast offers such as: sandwiches and rolls , baked casseroles with potatoes or pasta , desserts , tarte flambée , pastries , cakes , pizza , salads , soups , quiches , wraps , so-called "baker's burgers", hot drinks and soft drinks . The sandwich is the best-selling snack in Germany.
