Bärnhof is a district of the market Neuhaus an der Pegnitz in the district of Nürnberger Land in Middle Franconia .

location

The village is about 1.5 km south of Neuhaus, above the Pegnitz valley . Bärnhof is surrounded by Rehberg ( 442.2  m above sea  level ), Hirschberg ( 448  m above sea level ), Arzberg and Lindersberg. To the west, in the Pegnitz valley, are Engenthal and Rothenbruck . To the north are the Kugelsberg and Finstermühle , to the east are the Lumpenberg ( 453  m above sea level ) and the Sauberg ( 483.6  m above sea level ). Grünreuth is in the south . The border with Upper Palatinate is in the immediate vicinity.

history

There was once a forester's house in Bärnhof . The foresters came from the Filchner family from 1740 to 1830. This family was also the official forester in Krottensee for decades. In 1988 Bärnhof had 44 houses with 168 inhabitants.
