Bérénice Hebenstreit

Bérénice Hebenstreit (* 1987 in Vienna ) is an Austrian theater director and author .

Life

Hebenstreit attended the class for graphic and communication design at HTBLA Ortwein in Graz and then studied theater, film and media studies at the University of Vienna and at Concordia University in Montreal . After completing her studies, she worked as an assistant director at the Burgtheater , Schauspielhaus Graz and the Volkstheater Vienna . She is currently working there as a director.

In addition to her theater work, Bérénice Hebenstreit is a freelance writer at the online news portal mosaik-blog.at and an activist at Attac . In 2017 she also developed the format Die Schedule , a research project on gender equality in theater.
