The Bílý Štolpich , also Malý Štolpich or Malý Sloupský potok (German Weißer Stolpich ) is the left and smaller source stream of the Sloupský potok ( Stolpichbach ) in the Czech Republic .

course

The Bílý Štolpich rises on the ridge of the Jizera Mountains . Its source is at the western foot of the Holubník ( pigeon house , 1070 m) on the Stern ( Hvězda ) on the Hřebínek ( Kammel ) saddle , where the Blatný potok and the Black Neisse ( Černá Nisa ) also arise. The stream initially flows in a north-westerly direction. At the White Kitchen ( Bílé Kuchyně ), the Bílý Štolpich changes its course to the northeast and forms a three and a half kilometer long rocky gorge between the Svinské čelo ( Saukuppen , 781 m) and the Skalní brána, in which the stream climbs 400 meters. In the middle part of the gorge it forms the three meter high Kleiner Stolpichfall.

The Bílý Štolpich then reaches the Jizera Mountains foothills , where it changes direction to the northwest and flows through Ferdinandov . West of the hill Na Chatkách (465 m) the Bílý Štolpich joins the Černý Štolpich to form Sloupský potok .

The New Haindorf Pilgrimage Route ( Nová poutní cesta ) leads through the Bílý Štolpich valley from Liberec to Hejnice .
