The Böngertsbach is an approximately 2 km long right or southern tributary of the Moselle .

It rises on the Moselle height between Kindel and Lösnich and flows into the Moselle at about river kilometer 116 . In its upper reaches it initially shows a steep gradient. The forest path that runs parallel is correspondingly very steep and is popularly known as the “robber's bell”. Downstream it flows through a small lake and forms the border between the communities Kinheim and Lösnich in its lower reaches .
