Bühlenhausen is a district of the municipality Berghülen in the Alb-Donau district in Baden-Württemberg . In the course of the municipal reform in Baden-Württemberg on January 1, 1972, the municipality of Bühlenhausen was incorporated into Berghülen.

The village is about one kilometer east of Berghülen.

history

Bühlenhausen is first handed down in 1100 as "Billenhusin". Alemannic row graves were discovered 300 meters west of the village .

The village belonged to the Counts of Helfenstein , who sold it to Württemberg in 1447 . The Blaubeuren monastery acquired property from the Helfensteiners in the 14th century. The Ulm Order of the Order also owned the town in 1537.

Bühlenhausen belonged to the Oberamt Blaubeuren .

coat of arms

The right to use a coat of arms was granted to the former municipality of Bühlenhausen on July 30, 1953 by the regional council of North Württemberg.

Blazon : “In a divided shield; above in gold a lying black deer pole, below in red a lying silver wolf tang. "

The municipality had the coat of arms already before 1930, as can be seen from a correspondence between the archive of the Alb-Donau district and the main state archive in Stuttgart. In the Bühlenhausen emblem, too, the black stag pole symbolizes belonging to Altwuerttemberg. The lying double hook, also known as a wolf tang, goes back to an old stain mark and the colors silver and red in the lower field indicate the Counts of Helfenstein, who owned Bühlenhausen once. Some seal impressions from the 19th century have survived. At that time, the community of Bühlenhausen ran one with the aforementioned Wolfsangel and the inscription "Schultheißenamt Bühlenhausen".
