Graubünden calendar 2010

The Bündner Calendar has been published since 1841 and has barely changed its appearance and format of 15.5 × 20.5 centimeters since then. It deals with topics from today's Canton of Graubünden and the former Free State of the Three Leagues .

The Graubünden calendar is one of the primary sources for Rhaetian folklore .

It includes a calendar , historical peasant rules , the phases of the moon , the weather chronicle of the past year, biographies of Graubünden personalities and a complete directory of authorities. The Romansh language is represented with a few articles in every Graubünden calendar. In addition to the Graubünden calendar, the Engadin has a tradition in its own language , the Chalender Ladin .

The Bündner calendar is published by Casanova Verlag in Chur . The authors are mostly lecturers , teachers , historians and publicists , but also lay people interested in cultural history.
