Citizens' lists Upper Austria

The Upper Austria Citizens' Lists (BLOÖ) are a political party in the Austrian state of Upper Austria , which was founded on March 1, 2019 on the initiative of Peuerbach's local doctor , Martin Gollner . The objective of founding a regional party is to network and exchange the lists of citizens represented in the municipal councils of Upper Austria. The member lists that have joined are therefore also entitled to party funding, which varies in amount depending on the district. In the 2015 municipal council election , 63 citizen lists made it into a municipal council. So far, 24 of them are members of the Upper Austrian Citizens' Lists. On September 17, 2020 , the Upper Austria. presented at a press conference.

Political Academy

On September 25, 2019, the Political Academy of Citizens Lists Upper Austria. founded, as the head of which Christian Aichmayr (Citizen List Rutzenham ) was appointed. For this purpose, a separate association Citizen Lists Upper Austria - Political Academy with its seat in Peuerbach is registered in the register of associations of the district administration Grieskirchen . On February 29, 2020, the first training day of the citizen lists with 41 participants took place in the Hotel Ploberger in Wels , four lectures were offered on different topics.

Program and goals

The Upper Austrian Citizens' Lists. see themselves as a grassroots democratic movement that does not have a fixed program but rather works out objectives in working groups. These build on various basic positions. The basic positions include:

  • Justice and equal treatment for all people
  • the strict rejection of corruption of any kind
  • Unrestricted freedom of the press with the necessary press funding
  • etc.
