Martin Karl Gollner (born November 4, 1968 in Steyr ) is an Austrian doctor and politician ( BLOÖ , TOP Peuerbach, formerly ÖVP ). Since 2001 he has been working as a community doctor in Peuerbach . On June 14, 2019 , he was elected chairman of the Upper Austrian citizens' lists .

Life

Martin Gollner's father, Alois, was a railroad worker, his mother, Veronika, a farmer and his uncle Ernst Gollner was general director at ÖBB . Gollner attended elementary school in Reichraming and then a grammar school in Steyr, where he graduated in 1987. In 1987/1988 he was with the Guard Battalion of the Federal Army in the Maria-Theresien-Kaserne in Vienna . Gollner is married and has three daughters.

From 1989 to 1995 Gollner studied medicine in Innsbruck and Freiburg im Breisgau . He made his rotation from 1997 to 1999 and was a secondary doctor for surgery and trauma surgery at the Rohrbach hospital . From 2000 he worked there as an emergency doctor for the Red Cross . In 2001 Gollner took over the community doctor's office in Peuerbach . Between 1999 and 2010 he completed an apprenticeship as a psychotherapist at the University Hospital Vienna and from 2009 to 2014 an apprenticeship as a Chinese doctor . Since 2012 Gollner has been working as a quality assurance officer and investigator as part of a teaching practice and has been appointed as an expert for general medicine at the regional court of Wels since 2013 . In addition, he has also had OQM certification for all eight modules since 2012. He is currently training in nutritional medicine at the Austrian Academic Institute for Nutritional Medicine (OAIE) in Vienna.

politics

From the municipal council elections in 2003, Gollner acted as a substitute councilor for the ÖVP in Peuerbach, and in the municipal council elections in 2009 and 2015 he moved into the council as an ÖVP mandate. After a falling out with the ÖVP, he founded the citizens' list TOP Peuerbach on July 13, 2017 , with which he, after the merger of the municipalities of Peuerbach and Bruck-Waasen on January 1, 2018 , on April 8, 2018 in the new election of the Municipal council also ran as one of five mayoral candidates, but he did not make it into the runoff election. The citizen list TOP Peuerbach has since been represented with a mandate in the municipal council, which is occupied by him.
