Mayor of Pfalzel

The mayor's office Pfalzel in the district of Trier in the administrative district of Trier in the Prussian Rhine province was a mayor's office with 1 town, 1  town , 3 villages, 4 farms and 2 mills, which had 476 fireplaces and 3241 inhabitants (status 1828).

These included:

  • Pfalzel , on the left bank of the Moselle . The city has 3 churches and prayer houses, 4 public buildings, 222 private houses, 1250 inhabitants (as of 1828), some viticulture, agriculture and cattle breeding.
  • Ehrang , a town surrounded by walls in a lovely area at the influence of the Kyll into the Moselle, with 1 Catholic. Parish church, 142 feet, 948 inhabitants and viticulture and agriculture. Iron mines and the Quint am Quintbach ironworks are nearby .
  • Kordel , a village with 1 cathol. Parish church, 74 feet and 459 inh. These include the farms Winterbach and Ramstein with 15 inh. The ruins of Ramstein Castle lie near the latter .
  • Biewer , a village on the Moselle with 1 mill, the Josthof, 37 fireplaces and 213 pop.
  • Butzweiler , a village with 1 cathol. Parish church, 52 feet and 346 pop. This includes the Kimlingen farm with 10 pop.
