Bəsti Bağırova (1935)

Bəsti Məsim Qizi Bagirova ( Russian Басти Масим кызы Багирова ; born March 28 ^{. Jul} / 10. April 1906 ^greg. In Abdullabeikjurd, Ujesd Jelisawetpol ; † 27. February 1962 in Bachtschakjurd, Goranboy ) was a Soviet agronomist and Stachanowka Azerbaijani origin.

Life

Bağırova completed five courses at the Azerbaijani Agricultural Institute in Gəncə and at the Baku Party School .

1930 Bagirova began working as ordinary Kolchosnika in Voroshilov -Landwirtschafts artel (later Woroschilow- collective farm , since 1962 Bagirowa-Bachtschakjurd) in Rajon Kassum-Ismailov . In 1936 she became a working group leader there. 1952–1953 she was an instructor of the Oblast Committee Gəncə of the Azerbaijani CPSU leadership. In 1953 she became chairwoman of her Bakhchakjurd collective farm.

The agronomist Bağırova was one of the first Stakhanovkas of the Azerbaijani Soviet Socialist Republic (Azerbaijani SSR). Together with Qüdrət Səmədov , she introduced two-handed cotton picking , which significantly increased productivity. In October 1936 she reported a record harvest of 463 kg , which was ten times higher . In 1937 she achieved a world record yield of 142.9 quintals of cotton per hectare after nitrogen fertilization . Their methods were used in Albania and Bagirova schools were opened in Bulgaria .

Bağırova was a member of the CPSU (since 1937), delegate of the XX. CPSU Congress, the XXIII., XXIV. And XXV. Congress of the CP of Azerbaijan, member of the Central Committee of the CP of Azerbaijan, deputy of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR (1st – 3rd session) and the Azerbaijan SSR (4th and 5th session) and member of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the Azerbaijani SSR in the 5th session.
