The BBÖ VT 11 were engine - railcars of the Austrian Federal Railways (BBÖ).

The company Warchalowski, Eissler & Co produced in 1927 two-axle petrol-mechanical railcars for BBÖ. At the same time, three four-axle class VT 12 multiple units were purchased for comparison purposes. The VT 11 had an angular, box-shaped appearance with a cooling system on the roof. They were used on the Krems - Spitz , St. Valentin - Sarmingstein , Gmünd - Göpfritz and Schwarzenau - Zwettl routes. Each railcar could pull two wagons. Former Viennese light rail vehicles of type Cu were mostly used.

In 1938 the Deutsche Reichsbahn designated the two railcars with CivT No. 718–719 in the second occupation.

In 1940 they were converted to gas propulsion. The former VT 11.01, like many other vehicles parked due to lack of fuel, was parked in South Moravian train stations towards the end of the Second World War . There his track is lost.

5029.01

The ÖBB converted the former VT 11.02 to diesel drive and named it 5029.01 . It was mainly used on the Siebenbrunn – Engelhartstetten local railway . The vehicle was retired on December 1, 1968. It has been in the possession of the Technisches Museum Wien since then , but is not on public display due to its poor state of preservation.
