Philipp Baben der Erde
Philipp Baben der Erde (born May 28, 1981 in Wismar ) is a German photographer , cameraman and director . His work as a cameraman and director includes music videos , documentaries , commercials and short films . He lives and works in Berlin and Paris .
Life
Baben der Erde began his career as a photographer in 1999 in Berlin. After starting out in advertising and design, his path soon led him to the Babelsberg film studio . As a cameraman and director, he has been involved in feature and documentary films in Germany and France since 2003 . The film Bonzenkarren , for which he was responsible as cameraman, was shown at the 2008 Cannes International Festival .
Since 2005 he has devoted himself to contemporary photography. Since then his works have been shown in more than 15 exhibitions in Berlin, Munich, New York, Paris, Cannes and London.
In 2013 he won the German Camera Prize for the French film Black Enchantment .
