Babylon Bombs is a Swedish hard rock and sleaze band from Stockholm , founded in 2001. They take their influences mainly from glam rock and glam metal ( Kiss , Guns N 'Roses , Mötley Crüe etc.).

history

The band, which was founded at the end of 2001, gained a reputation as a good live band through countless appearances and also attracted attention with a few demos. After Indie Smilodon had taken the Babylon Bombs under his wing, the debut Cracked Wide Open and Bruised was released in 2005 , which was celebrated by the press worldwide.

In February 2006 Smilodon signed a license agreement for the Babylon Bombs with JVC Victor in Japan and released her debut album Cracked Wide Open and Bruised there in May . In Europe, the band's second album Doin 'You Nasty will be released in March 2006 . It was produced by Lasse Mårtén, who has worked with Blindside before. The guests include The Duke Of Honk from the Diamond Dogs, who already served the keyboards on the debut, and Mia Coldheart from Crucified Barbara . In January 2007, Doin 'You Nasty was also released in Japan.

In September and October 2006, Babylon Bombs toured Europe with Hardcore Superstar with concerts in Germany, Belgium, Holland, France, Scotland, England and Italy.

The third studio album Babylon's Burning was recorded in September 2008 with producer Chris Laney and was released in October 2009. Bass player Marty left the band after the recordings and was replaced by Ricky.

Frontman Dani also left the band in April 2010. His successor is Wick, who is also studying classical singing in Stockholm.
