Bachmühle is a residential area in the Lauda-Königshofen district of Königshofen in the Main-Tauber district in the Franconian north-east of Baden-Württemberg .
geography
The Bachmühle is located on the western outskirts of Königshofen an der Umpfer , about 400 meters before its confluence from the left into the Tauber .
history
The Bachmühle was recorded on the measuring table sheet no. 6424 "Königshofen" from 1881 .
The living space came as part of the formerly independent city of Königshofen to the city of Lauda-Königshofen on January 1, 1975, when the city of Lauda merged with the city of Königshofen and the community of Unterbalbach as part of the regional reform in Baden-Württemberg .

The place can be reached via the street of the same name Bachmühle . The short street branches off from the B 292 ( Sachsenflurer Straße ) beforehand . Shortly before the living space, Bachstrasse splits and leads over two bridges to two parts of the living space.
Personalities
Otto Müller, who comes from the Bachmühle, was born in Königshofen in 1886, graduated from high school in Tauberbischofsheim in 1904 before studying history and Romance philology in Würzburg, Munich, Heidelberg and Freiburg. In 1907 the doctor's examination followed, after which he later took a position as a teacher at a school in Bruchsal. In addition to the doctorate, a professorship is included. Müller wrote several plays, including a tragedy about the peasants' war in Tauberfranken in 1929 with the title "Bauernsturm - the German tragedy anno Domini 1525" . The Historical & Cultural Königshofen group offered a scenic representation of Otto Müller's tragedy in the Königshöfer journeyman's house in the year 2000, commemorating the Peasants' War.
